Raspberry Pi project connected to a thermistor via a USB I/O board to create temperature graphs.

Rewritten 23/3 to reduce load on pi

• a python service to maintain the open ttyusb connection, listening on a socket
• monitor process to connect to service and query ADC every 5 seconds
• calibration formula to convert this to °C
• Works out 1-minute average taken every 5 seconds, and storing the value to a MySql db on this server.
• Page request generates an inline png graph using php-gd
• Query-parameter options to allow previous days, time ranges, and custom graphic width
• Serial connection to solar inverter, reading generated elecricity values [this no longer works...]

4 Pi machines, data pulled by one which averages/collates and relays the results

• Outdoors: in a DIY Stevenson Screen: DS18B20 high res thermometer, AM2302 Humidity sensor, YL85 raindrop detector
• Conservatory: DS18B20 + AM2302
• Upstairs: BMP085 temperature/air pressure, DS18B20 inside+outside, HH10 humidity, serial link to Aurora serial inverter
• Upstairs spare room: BMP085 pressure/temp, DS18B20 in room + 2 in cupboard - one touching hot water tank.
• All are reporting their core CPU temperatures
• Data stored here, and on a local linux node running as a PVR
